Holograhic security

TRUSTSEAL® holograms offer optical security that is tamper-proof, with both visible and hidden authentication features to ensure that attempts for counterfeiting or tampering can be immediately detected. These holograms can be applied via hot stamping or via cold transfer technology, ensuring seamless integration into your packaging process.

Manufactured with KURZ’s patented OVD technology, these security features provide effective protection against counterfeiters while enhancing consumer confidence.

Diffractive black
The black, shimmering effect is embedded in the letter “A” and appears dark from almost all angles. However, when the TRUSTSEAL® element is tilted horizontally and viewed from the side, the letter “A” lights up in a bright yellow-green colour.

Spotlight
When the security element is illuminated with a point light source, the hidden security function moves in different directions against a dark background as it is tilted around the vertical or horizontal axis. The light effect appears achromatic.

TRUSTCOLOR® is a security solution that combines holographic technology with colour-shifting effects. This technology enables the creation of visual elements that change colour depending on the viewing angle, making them difficult to reproduce and thus effective against counterfeiting. TRUSTCOLOR® is often used on packaging and labels to provide a clear and recognizable authenticity indicator.

TRUSTCOLOR® PLUS builds on the TRUSTCOLOR® technology by integrating additional security features. This includes the ability to combine holographic elements with other authentication methods, such as QR codes or microtext, to create a multi-layered security solution. This combination makes it even more difficult for counterfeiters to copy the product and provides consumers with an easy way to verify authenticity.
