Insert Molding Decoration
Insert Molding is a cost-effective method for giving complex plastic parts, mainly in home electronics and automotive interiors, high-quality surfaces with both decorative and functional elements.
The process combines several steps in one, where decorated component sheets are formed, cut, and back-injected to their final shape. The technology enables advanced design solutions such as tactile effects, day/night design and backlighting, and can also be integrated with PolyTC® sensors for thin and flexible touch functions.
Our range from KURZ includes decorative metallic, holographic and pigmented series as well as functional touch sensors and backlighting.
